Water rarely enters where the damp patch appears - it travels along timbers and felt before dripping through. We trace leaks systematically: checking coverings, flashings, valleys and penetrations until we find the genuine entry point, then fix that rather than guessing.

Most roof problems are repairable. But if your roof is nearing the end of its life, we will tell you honestly when repairs stop being good value - and give you a separate quote for replacement so you can compare the options.

- It depends on access, height and what needs doing - a few replacement tiles cost far less than rebuilding a valley. We quote in writing after inspecting, so you know the price before any work starts.
- Can you repair a roof in one visit?
- Many repairs are completed in a single visit. Where materials need ordering or scaffolding is required, we will explain the timescale upfront.
- Will you tell me if a repair is not worth it?
- Yes. If the roof is at the end of its serviceable life and repairs would be throwing good money after bad, we will tell you - with a costed alternative.
