VELUX Window Replacement
Older VELUX windows eventually reach the end of their life - failed seals, misted glazing, stiff hinges and dated finishes. Modern replacements are more thermally efficient, easier to use and often a like-for-like swap in the same opening.
We replace existing roof windows with current VELUX models, reusing the existing opening where possible so the job is quicker, cleaner and more cost-effective than a new installation.

Finding your window's size
Every VELUX window carries a data plate - a small label on the frame, visible when the window is open - giving the model and size code. Send us that code (or a photo of it) and we can usually quote a like-for-like replacement without a survey visit.
Why replace rather than repair?
Worn hinges and handles can be serviced, but misted double glazing and failed seals usually make replacement the better value - modern glazing is noticeably warmer and quieter than windows from twenty or thirty years ago.
